What we collect today

The organization responsible for this founding-beta information is Univenture Studio

The founding-beta form collects your email address, optional first name, confirmation that you are 19 or older, broad preferred region, usual days, comfortable pace, and preferred starting format. It also records the time of consent and basic campaign labels such as utm_source when they are present.

We do not ask for an exact home location, medical information, emergency contacts, identity documents, payment details, or a live trail plan on the founding-beta form.

Why we collect it

We use this information to understand founding demand, group broad interest by region, day, pace, and format, contact people who gave permission, and assess whether a controlled Vancouver beta is viable. We do not sell this information.

Consent and email

The email permission box is not preselected. If you give permission, Trail Meet may send beta invitations and occasional product updates. You can withdraw that permission at any time using the unsubscribe page. Withdrawing permission does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Storage, access, and retention

Founding-beta records are stored in Trail Meet’s hosted database. Access is intended to be limited to authorized operators who need it for beta planning and support. We plan to remove inactive founding records after 12 months unless a legal or operational reason requires a different period. This retention period must be re-reviewed before live profiles or event records are introduced.

Advertising measurement

Trail Meet records a small set of first-party funnel events so it can understand whether visitors reach and complete the founding-beta form. These records use a random tab-session identifier, event name, page path, and campaign labels when present. Trail Meet does not store an IP address, browser fingerprint, email, name, pace, region, days, or safety traits in the funnel-event table.

The current build does not load Meta Pixel or send Trail Fit traits to Meta. If advertising tools are enabled, Trail Meet will add appropriate notice and controls and will not send pace, location preference, safety information, messages, or plan details as advertising event parameters.

Your choices

You may ask whether Trail Meet holds a founding record about you, request a correction, withdraw email permission, or request deletion subject to legal retention requirements. The production privacy contact is: privacy@univenturestudio.com

Before public launch

Trail Meet will name its responsible legal organization and privacy officer, confirm subprocessors and data locations, document breach handling, and obtain BC legal review before this owner-only test is made public.
